Memorial service honors 9 Fort Campbell soldiers killed in Black Hawk crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Saturday marks three years since the tragic night that two Black Hawks collided over a Kentucky field, killing nine Fort Campbell soldiers.

On the night of March 29, 2023, two HH-60 Black Hawks from Fort Campbell were performing night training exercises in the sky above Trigg County when they collided.

All nine soldiers, four in one helicopter and five in the other, died in the crash that sent debris all over a field off Lancaster Road and Maple Grove Road in Cadiz, Kentucky…
