5 injured following crash in Christian County

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — Five people—including at least three minors—were brought to Middle Tennessee hospitals after a crash in Southern Kentucky Saturday, officials reported.

Hopkinsville Fire/EMS posted about the incident shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, saying crews were at the scene of a crash near mile marker 86 of Interstate 24.

According to the department, Hopkinsville first responders brought two juveniles to Vanderbilt Health’s Clarksville facility via ambulance, as well as one woman in critical condition who had CPR administered at the scene. Fort Campbell EMS also transported one person to Clarksville. In addition, AirEvac flew a pediatric patient to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.

News 2 reached out to the Hopkinsville Police Department and Kentucky State Police for additional details about this crash. KSP confirmed everyone involved in it needed medical treatment, but there were no fatalities. However, HPD has yet to respond…
