A Dickson woman was arrested last week and charged with elder abuse.
According to an arrest affidavit filed with the Dickson County General Sessions Court, Dickson County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a home near Tennessee City on March 23 with a report that an elderly woman was on the floor bleeding.
Upon arrival, Allanah Delores Samples, 24, allegedly told deputies she was sorry repeatedly, and said her “mommy” came after her with a bat.
