American Snuff Adds Dozens Of Jobs At Clarksville Plant

American Snuff Company is beefing up its workforce in Clarksville, Tenn., rolling out plans for more than 50 new manufacturing jobs at its production plant as part of an ongoing modernization push. The openings, which include machine operator and maintenance technician roles, are set to be posted and filled on a rolling basis throughout 2026.

The company frames the additions as the latest step in a multiyear effort that began in 2024 to modernize its U.S. manufacturing footprint.

“For more than a century, American Snuff Company has grown alongside this community, evolving its operations while maintaining a strong local presence,” Adriano Rusak, vice president of manufacturing at American Snuff Company, said in the release. He added that the new jobs and training are intended to prepare both employees and the facility for future production needs.
