Man arrested after multi-day Stewart County manhunt

DOVER, Tenn. (WSMV) – A fugitive at the center of a manhunt that caused some Stewart County schools to go on lockdown this week has been apprehended, according to the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office.

The man, from Venezuela, was arrested at about 5:15 a.m. Saturday after the sheriff’s office received a call about a suspicious person on Keel Hollow Road in the area of the Dollar General and the Guadalajara Restaurant.
