Several people were indicted by the Todd County Grand Jury during its May session on Wednesday, with charges ranging from felony theft to persistent felony offender.
Lexus Bussell (also known as Abby Bussell), of Elkton, was indicted on an alternate count of first-degree theft by deception (more than $1,000 but less than $10,000). The charge stems from incidents allegedly occurring between October and November 2025 involving Dollar General.
Barbara Weatherford, of Elkton, was charged with complicity to theft by deception (over $1,000 but under $10,000). She is accused of conspiring with Lexus Bussell to obtain property from Dollar General between October 20th and November 14th, 2025…
