OAK GROVE, Ky. (KT) – A third Buc-ee’s location in Kentucky is facing a major delay in opening.
The Buc-ee’s travel center in Oak Grove, Ky., near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line, has been delayed again. The Texas-based chain’s official website is now saying the opening is delayed until 2029.
Oak Grove is known as “The Hometown of Fort Campbell,” located directly along the Tennessee state line just outside the gates of the 101st Airborne Division.
Buc-ee’s is planned to be developed off Exit 89 on Interstate 24. Extensive infrastructure upgrades are required before construction can begin in full.
