TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA ) — Tax Collectors in the Tampa Bay area report issues with a state system that helps them provide driver’s licenses, transfer titles, and other services.
In Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Polk counties, elected officials say they’ve reached out to the state. The counties asked them to fix the problem, but so far, the issues persist.
The issue is happening across the state, and customers can experience extended wait times or possibly not get their documents because of it. Multiple tax collectors also said their employees are having to deal with angry customers for a problem they didn’t create…
