Off-Duty Tampa Officer Busted For 100+ MPH Sunday Morning Dash

TAMPA, Fla. – An off-duty Tampa police officer found himself on the wrong side of the law early Sunday morning after deputies clocked him flying down the interstate at triple-digit speeds.

Jason Brown was pulled over and arrested just before 6:30 a.m. on May 31, 2026, by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. According to authorities, Brown was traveling southbound on I-75 near Big Bend Road when deputies spotted his personal vehicle blasting past the 100 miles per hour mark and recklessly weaving in and out of traffic lanes.
