Howard Frankland Bridge Crash Cleared After Saturday Night Backup

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. –Traffic is moving once again across the Howard Frankland Bridge after emergency crews successfully cleared a multi-lane crash on Interstate 275 North.

The incident, which originally blocked the two right lanes at mile marker 33, had caused immediate bottlenecks for drivers traveling from Pinellas County toward Tampa earlier this evening. Roadway clearings were finalized shortly after the initial traffic surge, and all disabled vehicles and debris have been removed from the highway.
