PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers traveling through Pinellas County next week can expect widespread traffic delays, as the Florida Department of Transportation District 7 has scheduled a series of lane closures spanning major highways and local roadways from July 26 through August 1, 2026.
Major interstate routes will experience both full overnight shutdowns and partial lane restrictions. On Interstate 275, the express lanes heading northbound between Gandy Boulevard and Roosevelt Boulevard will close completely for two hours starting at midnight on Monday, July 27.
