Seminole High School, which originally opened in the early 1960s, is currently undergoing a $57 million renovation project. For principal Dr. Alana Brown, it’s all about legacy and preparing the campus for the next generations.
“It is an investment in our students, our staff and the future of our community,” she said. “Our goal is to provide students with a modern, safe and engaging learning environment that reflects the high expectations we have for their success.”
The renovation project has been part of the district’s long-term facilities plan since 2021. Construction commenced in March 2025. Pinellas County Schools expects that the effort will be completed by July 2027…
