PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A multi-agency law enforcement crackdown targeted impaired drivers across Pinellas County over Labor Day weekend, resulting in dozens of criminal charges and hundreds of traffic tickets.
The operation, known as a DUI Wolf Pack, ran from 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, through 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 6. According to an update released Sunday morning by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, officers made 23 driving under the influence arrests and filed 45 total criminal charges during the 10-hour sweep.
In addition to the DUI arrests, the operation yielded two felony drug charges, two misdemeanor drug charges, one warrant arrest, four arrests for driving with a suspended or revoked license, three other felony arrests, and ten additional misdemeanor arrests…
