Storms increase as humidity stays high Sunday…

Clouds will stick around overnight as conditions stay warm and steamy. Lows Sunday morning will be in the upper 70s with highs around 90 degrees. Showers and storms will be more scattered druing the afternoon and linger into the evening before tapering off late.

Scattered storms will be in the forecast all week long as a front lingers over our area. It weakens a bit Thursday into next weekend as rain chances back off slightly. Lows throughout the work week will be in the upper 70s with highs around 90 degrees.

One tropical wave in the Bay of Campeche is expected to become our next named storm as it moves north. It is expected to make landfall next week near the Texas/Louisiana border. There are two other tropical waves in the far eastern Atlantic that may develop slowly in the coming days. None of these waves appear to impact the Bay Area.
