LARGO, Fla. – Portions of U.S. 19 were closed for some time after a semi-truck hit a power pole and knocked it over in Largo, causing downed power lines, officials said. The Largo Police Department says the accident happened sometime Monday at Frontage Road near Belleair Road. Officers, along with Largo Fire Rescue, responded to the scene.
