Kirk Cousins Postgame After Falcons-Buccaneers Is Trending

After Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw a game-winning touchdown pass on “Thursday Night Football,” he did the “swag surf” dance after a 36-30 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cousins busted out the dance moves, swaying back and forth for the camera amid the jubilation of a comeback overtime victory. The dance originated from the Fast Life Yungstaz’s song “Swag Surfin” that became popular with the Kansas City Chiefs last season.

Cousins also became synonymous with the dance recently after his Week 4 postgame press conference .

“They were playing that song about you swag and surf and the whole stadium was moving,” Cousins told the media while swaying side to side. “And I looked around and I was like ‘This is pretty sweet.'”

Cousins kept the Falcons in the game as they trailed non-stop since the 1:56 mark of the first half. He finished with a franchise record 509 yards passing and four touchdowns.

Trailing in the fourth quarter, Cousins tied the game 27-27 with a 12-yard strike to wide receiver Darnell Mooney with 13:18 remaining. Cousins then drove the Falcons to field goal range as kicker Younghoe Koo drilled a 52-yard field goal to send the game to overtime, tied at 30.
