In an effort to combat local drug-related crime, the Largo Police Department recently made a sizable bust. A routine traffic stop yesterday led to an arrest and numerous drug charges, according to a social media post from the authorities.
The Largo Police Department conducted a traffic stop last week, resulting in a significant drug seizure. Knowingly driving with a permanently revoked license, the driver’s journey ended abruptly. Law enforcement uncovered a trove of illicit substances that eventually saw the driver facing multiple charges, including the trafficking of both fentanyl, in excess of 14 grams, and methamphetamine, surpassing 28 grams.
The litany of offenses didn’t stop with hard drugs. The individual was also charged with possessing a controlled substance four times over, harboring marijuana with the intent to sell, carrying drugs without a prescription on two counts, and having drug paraphernalia.
