LARGO, Fla. (WFLA)— A new officer with the Largo Police Department experienced his first run-in with an alligator, and it was all caught on camera.
Officers responded to a home after an alligator wandered onto the property.

Officer Martinez, a new officer with the Largo Police Department, is from New York and got his official welcome to Florida, LPD said.
“In the end, the gator was safely removed and relocated to a proper area. No officers and Officer Martinez, our NY transplant, received his official welcome to Florida,” LPD said in a post on Facebook…
