DUNEDIN, Fla. (WFLA)—Nurse sharks were captured swimming around Honeymoon Island over the weekend.
The video showed three nurse sharks swimming near the toll booth at Honeymoon Island on Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, nurse sharks are often seen lying motionless on the bottom of the Gulf and Atlantic coasts of Florida. They can be seen near coral reefs, rocks, and mangrove islands.

The mating season for nurse sharks is during the summer, and after 6 months, the females will give birth to 20 to 50 pups…
