TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. (WFLA) — At least ten vessels sank and multiple others required assistance near Anclote Key on Saturday.
According to Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue, crews assisted seven boats and a Jet Ski that ran into trouble after a storm quickly brewed along the coast. As a result, some of the vessels began taking on water.
Pasco Sheriff’s Office said they received calls for assistance at around 1:30 p.m., and all occupants were safely on land by the time first responders arrived…
