Four members of the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang were brought to Volusia County from a Hillsborough County jail on July 7 to face charges in connection with a Bike Week shooting and brawl at a New Smyrna Beach gas station.
The incident occurred on March 8 around 11:37 a.m. and left multiple people injured. Two motorcycle gang members were shot, Volusia County sheriff’s investigators said.
The gang members were arrested as part of a July 2 raid carried out by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Seventh Circuit State Attorney’s Office, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, and other local police agencies.
