PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was charged over the weekend in Florida after apparently trying to recreate a scene from “Titanic” while going 50 mph over the speed limit.
Florida’s new “Super Speeder Law,” which went into effect on July 1, came with a law enforcement crackdown on excessive speeding.
Damon Henkins, 34, became all too familiar with this increased enforcement on Sunday morning while traveling on U.S. Highway 19.
