A 15-year-old boy briefly ended up detained at the immigration detention center in the Florida Everglades dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz,” an attorney said.
The teen was in a car with five adults heading to Tampa when authorities stopped the vehicle back on July 1, attorney Marianna Delgado told NBC Affiliate WFLA.
