CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman was arrested after being accused of leaving a 6-month-old who was in a car seat in the middle of a road and driving off before changing her mind and returning for the infant.
According to the arrest affidavit, on July 3, around 1 p.m., Kennesha Shardae Ford, 39, who was taking care of the child, was driving on Kings Highway near the Overlea Street intersection when she proceeded to stop her 2017 Nissan Sentra.
