High School Principal Who Once Saved a Student Now Arrested for DUI, Cocaine Possession

Nationwide — Scott Hazlett, a high school principal from Tampa, Florida, was recently arrested for DUI and cocaine possession just a year after he made headlines for saving a student’s life. He is now on leave from Leto High School.

According to WLBT, Temple Terrace police stopped Hazlett early Saturday morning during a routine speed check. Officers said he was driving 15 miles over the limit and showed clear signs of impairment.
