The wild Powerboat P1 Grand Prix returns to St. Pete

The 5th Annual Monster Energy St. Petersburg Powerboat P1 Grand Prix makes its highly anticipated return September 5–7, bringing high-speed powerboat and jet ski racing back to the downtown waterfront. Spectators can catch the action along the shoreline, with some of the best viewing spots near the St. Pete Pier, North Straub Park, and Vinoy Park.

The weekend kicks off with a Pit Party on Friday, September 5, at Albert Whitted Park (480 Bayshore Dr. SE) from 6 to 10 p.m. Guests can explore vendor booths, enjoy food trucks, and hear live music from country artist Andy Velo. Powerboat and AquaX jet ski teams will also be on display, giving fans the chance to meet drivers and get an up-close look at the racecraft before competition begins.
