Clearwater residents can learn about proposed park renovations at a community meeting on September 23.
CLEARWATER, Fla. – The City of Clearwater is holding a community meeting to gather public input on proposed renovations and improvements for Ed Wright Park. The meeting, which will be held in an open house format, is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ross Norton Recreation Center, located at 1426 S. M.L.K. Jr. Ave.
The proposed plans for the park are designed to enhance recreational opportunities and include several new amenities.
Among the planned improvements are a refurbished tennis court, two new pickleball courts, and a kayak launch for Lake Belleview. The city also aims to add two picnic shelters, a new playground, a family bench swing, and a six-foot-wide sidewalk to connect the ball courts to the Lake Belleview Trail…
