Machine Gun Kelly bringing ‘Lost Americana’ tour to Tampa this winter

Roll up the windows, because Machine Gun Kelly has announced a massive new tour, which starts this winter and makes a stop at Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena (formerly Amalie Arena).

35-year-old Colson Baker—the rap-rock icon whose pseudonym was recently shortened to just its initials—recently dropped his seventh album Lost Americana, which steps away from his standard, sadboi emo-rap sound while taking on more of a contemporary, pop-rock vibe. And the promotional campaign was one of the strongest in music history, because Bob Dylan narrated the record’s official trailer. So basically, if the guy who won’t even show up to his own Nobel Prize ceremony is pushing your album (and sharing it to Instagram during what we imagine is his iPad time), it might be best to believe in second chances on this one.

If that Friday night won’t work for you, you’ll have to wait until his May 27 date in West Palm Beach, or try your luck and show up to the very sold-out Orlando Warped Tour next month, where he’ll be playing…
