28-Year-Old Arrested After Auto Burglary Spree Hits Dozens of Victims

NEW PORT RICHEY — A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an overnight auto burglary spree that left more than 30 residents across multiple neighborhoods waking up to ransacked vehicles and stolen property.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded early on October 4, 2025, after receiving a series of calls reporting vehicle burglaries throughout the area. Victims said their cars had been entered during the night without permission, with items such as money, purses, duffel bags, documents, and clothing taken.

One victim told deputies he discovered his vehicle’s driver door open and personal items scattered inside. He also noticed that his roommate’s vehicle had been entered, and a Taurus 9mm semiautomatic handgun was missing from the glove box…
