Tampa Man Sentenced to Over Six Years for Illegal Firearm Possession

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida announced that Denzel Ingram, a 28-year-old resident of Tampa, has been sentenced to more than six years in federal prison for possessing firearms as a convicted felon. U.S. District Judge Charlene Honeywell also ordered the forfeiture of the firearms involved.

During a traffic stop attempt by a Tampa Police Department officer, Denzel Ingram evaded law enforcement, leading to a pursuit. Following the incident, two loaded handguns were recovered.
