PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A crash involving four cars in Pinellas County led to a drug bust, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a driver, who was later identified as Matthew Georgia, was driving on County Road 752 on Nov. 19 when he failed to stop and crashed into three other vehicles.
According to a crash report, Georgia said he had bent down to pick up a dropped cell phone and didn’t have enough time to stop once he noticed the other vehicles he was approaching.
