TAMPA, Fla. — Just after 8 a.m. on November 28, two teens walked into the yard and took two puppies, Luna and Orion. The dog’s owner, Nelly Gonzalez, said her first thought was that they might never be found.
“That’s the first thing that comes to mind… You’re never going to find them,” Gonzalez said.
Neighbors quickly stepped in, checked their doorbell cameras and found the suspects were caught on video. Armed with the photo, neighbors started searching several blocks. More than 24 hours later, neighbor Tanisha Johnson spotted one of the suspects and followed her. Johnson said she later saw someone let Luna outside a house…
