Country director for Action Against Hunger defrauded over $700K in foreign assistance: DOJ

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)—A country director for a U.S. non-profit Action Against Hunger was charged after defrauding the organization of more than $700,000, the Department of Justice announced.

Roseval Surpreme, 55, from New York, was charged with seven counts of wire fraud and could face up to 20 years in federal prison per count.
