Pinellas County teacher struck by lightning, hospitalized in Peru

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A Pinellas County middle school teacher is fighting for his life in a Peruvian hospital after being struck by lightning while mountain biking.

“James is just a really awesome fun-loving guy,” said the man’s sister, Nicole Strockis.
