TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County judge sentenced Dylan Fogel to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of killing Giovanni Soto when he crashed a semi-truck into a Tampa strip club in August 2024.
The jury deliberated for about three hours Wednesday. Once the judge cleared them of their duties, she didn’t mince words when addressing Fogel.

“In this case, with these sets of facts, I don’t know that I would want to, but even if I wanted to, I can’t give you less than life in prison on count one,” said Judge Lyann Goudie.
