CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — The man wanted for robbing two banks in Clearwater has been arrested, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday.
Shannon Luster, 49, of Largo, faces up to 20 years in prison on federal bank robbing charges connected to the incidents.
Luster was accused of robbing the first bank on November 5 and the second, located a block away from the first, on December 9. Prosecutors said that in both robberies, Luster used a hat and sunglasses to conceal his identity and carried a laptop bag with a firearm inside.
