A financial advisor in The Villages has been charged with sending threatening messages to his ex-wife.
Arthur “Skip” Eugene West, 74, who now appears to be living in a rental in the Village of Dunedin, was arrested Sunday by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies on a Marion County warrant charging him with intimidation.
West’s ex-wife had been living in Stonecrest in Summerfield, but after receiving a series of threatening texts and voicemails from her ex-husband, moved in with a friend because she no longer felt safe living alone at home, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
