Adams Group, a North Port-based cabinet manufacturer and installer of interior casework, has acquired a Pinellas County firm. Mill-Rite Woodworking Company, which has its headquarters in Pinellas Park, is now part of the Sarasota County company.
Mill-Rite focuses on high-end commercial applications of casework and millwork products. Founded in 1966, the company also offers stonework products like granite and quartz. Mill-Rite has worked on projects such as the millwork at Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena and wall panels, custom millwork and countertops at The Westin Sarasota. Its clients reach as far away as Kansas.
Now part of Adams Group, Mill-Rite will operate as the Sarasota County company’s specialty wood and stone division. This will expand production capacity and vertically integrated capabilities, according to a statement from Adams Group…
