Chipotle Mexican Grill will take over the Krispy Kreme spot at 9100 4th St. North in St. Petersburg. For over ten years, the doughnut shop served customers there. The fast-casual chain filed paperwork with the Southwest Florida Water Management District to remodel the 2,430-square-foot building.
Work starts in March. Completion is set for September. Mississippi-based Streamline Development Partners heads up the project with Vero Beach-based Quick Concepts Group LLC handling design and engineering.
The doughnut shop opened this standalone site in 2013. Ragin’ Grill used to occupy the building, and before that, YaYa’s Flame Broiled Chicken ran operations there…
