ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. — Kindergarten students at Douglas L. Jamerson Elementary School in St. Petersburg got a rare taste of winter on Friday — snow.
Each year, the school’s PTA brings in two tons of snow to reward students for their first-semester achievements. This year’s annual “Snow Day” happened to fall on the coldest day of 2026 so far.
