Jeff Knight, the prominent Pinellas businessman who struck the Clearwater Ferry with his boat last year, now has a trial date set for the fall in connection with the deadly collision.
Knight was arrested in July on eight felony charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving death or injury after his boat collided with the ferry. One man, a father of two young girls, was killed and 10 people were injured in the April crash.
