Student from Pinellas County among 2 found dead at university in Ohio

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (WFLA) — Two students, including a 20-year-old from Indian Shores, were found dead Monday on the Franciscan University of Steubenville campus in Ohio.

The Catholic university released a statement addressing the deaths of Florida-native Luke Reimer and Mary Mich, a 20-year-old from Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

School officials said Reimer and Mich were found inside a car in the parking lot of St. Agnes Residence Hall.

The Steubenville Police Department is investigating and has not released an official cause of death for the students, though officials said initial evidence suggests it may have been a “tragic accident.”
