PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Pinellas County brewery formerly owned by a businessman accused of draining millions from a special needs trust now has new ownership.
Big Storm Brewing, once owned by Leo Govoni, was auctioned off to a Gulfport company, TIDE LLC, for $5.5 million, according to court documents obtained by News Channel 8. The documents refer to the business as Big Storm Brewery, LCC.

The brewery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June — about a week before Govoni was arrested. That was after a judge found Govoni liable for stealing $120 million from the Center for Special Needs Trust Administration.
