St. Pete house set on fire intentionally, officers say

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA)— A home in St. Petersburg was set on fire deliberately, the St. Petersburg Police Department announced.

According to officers, SPPD got a call to investigate a fire at the 3000 block of Jackson Street North around 8:48 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators at the scene said the home sustained interior damage.

“The fire was determined to have been set deliberately. Our arson investigator is actively investigating,” SPPD said…
