CLEARWATER, Fla. — A Clearwater man was arrested after police say he drove 129 mph because his McDonald’s order took too long during his work break.
A Clearwater officer conducting speed enforcement on U.S. Highway 19 near Sunset Point Road reported seeing a vehicle, operated by 19-year-old Christopher Garcia-Caminos, going an estimated “120–130 mph” in the southbound median lane.
The officer’s radar system registered the car at 129 mph, despite the posted 55 mph limit, according to an arrest affidavit…
