Clearwater Driver Clocked at 129 MPH on US-19, Tells Police McDonald’s Took Too Long During Work Break

Clearwater — An 18-year-old Clearwater man was arrested early Tuesday after police said he was driving nearly 130 mph on U.S. Highway 19.

According to an arrest affidavit filed by the Clearwater Police Department, Christopher Leonel Garcia-Caminos, 18, was charged with dangerous excessive speeding, a second-degree misdemeanor under Florida Statutes.
