New name, same history, and (phew) same fresh-catch grouper nuggets. Crabby’s Beachside Pavilion has officially made its debut in Clearwater at 10 Bay Esplanade, taking over the historic space formerly home to Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill & Bar.
The group behind other Crabby’s restaurants in the area, the new owners promised to keep the things (and people) that made Palm Pavilion special, while adding new touches to enhance the experience. Upon the reopening of the restaurant, they seem to have stuck to their word. Not only are there still so many of the same smiling faces tending to tables, but the crowd favorites on the menu have remained, as well. From fresh grouper in platter, sandwich or nugget form to coconut shrimp and the promised return of gator bites, longtime regulars can still get their usual order.
Meanwhile, Crabby’s is also making a few additions. While drink prices have remained unchanged, they’ve teased a potential upcoming daily happy hour that will add drink specials to the waterfront experience.
