PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Police in Pinellas Park took a 51-year-old man into custody Tuesday after an undercover investigation into the online solicitation of a child. James Henry Moses, a resident of Bushnell, Florida, was arrested on March 3 at a commercial location along US Highway 19 North.
The investigation began when Pinellas Park Police detectives received a tip regarding inappropriate digital communications between Moses and a minor. According to investigators, Moses had spent time chatting with who he believed was a 15-year-old child before making specific arrangements to meet in person. Detectives tracked Moses to 7190 US Highway 19 N, where they intercepted him at the designated meeting spot.
“Our top priority is the safety of our children and our community,” said Chief Adam Geissenberger following the arrest. “We remain committed to proactively identifying and apprehending individuals who seek to harm our youth and we encourage parents to stay vigilant when it comes to their children’s online activity.”…
