A Clearwater man faces multiple drug trafficking and DUI-related charges after Largo police say he overdosed while driving and struck a bicyclist.
According to an arrest affidavit, Largo Police responded to a crash at about 5:24 p.m. on March 11, 2026, at South Missouri Avenue and Ponce De Leon Boulevard. Callers reported a driver unconscious behind the wheel of a white 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Officers arriving at the scene found the driver unconscious inside the vehicle, which was still in drive and stopped against a curb with the doors locked.
