CLEARWATER, Fla. — Renovations are coming along at the pool at Clearwater’s Long Center.
The indoor Olympic-sized pool is known as a premier swimming venue, offering a variety of programs.
“From mermaid school, (teaching) little girls to become mermaids, all the way to hosting elite national swim meets, water polo tournaments, synchro tournaments, we’ve hosted Wounded Warrior swim meets here before, really everything in between,” said Shaun Beasley, recreation manager for the city of Clearwater, who details some of the renovations that will make the facility more modern…
